GSF cross country

Green Sea Floyds participated in a five team meet at Loris High School this past Thursday.

The teams who participated were Green Sea Floyds, Loris, Latta, Marion and Mullins.

Congratulations to Green Sea Floyds Trojans for taking first place in the team meet with a score of 28. Latta took second place and had a score of 67, while Loris was third with 95, and Marion was fourth with a score of 96. Mullins had an incomplete score.

The top 10 runners were: first place, Thomas Allen, Latta, 20:45; second place, Jackson Jeter, Green Sea Floyds, 21:16; third place, Ridge Kidder, Loris, 21:54; fourth place, Cael Kienast, Green Sea Floyds, 25:15; fifth place, Mason Williams, Green Sea Floyds, 25:29; sixth place, Gavin Alford, Loris, 25:52; seventh place, Luke Berry, Latta, 26:14; eighth place, David Lopez, Green Sea Floyds, 26:49; ninth place, JaRonn Alex, Green Sea Floyds, 27:25; 10th place, Garnett, Marion, 27:52.

The Green Sea Floyds Trojans girls also ran the Cross Country Five Team Meet. They placed first in the team meet with a score of 17. Latta was second with a score of 60. Loris, Marion and Mullins, all three had an incomplete score.

The top 10 girl runners were: first place, Mia Crankfield, Green Sea Floyds, 28:56; second place, Brooklyn Sawyer, Green Sea Floyds, 31:06; third place, Kirsten Causey, Green Sea Floyds 33:44; fourth place, Tania Alvarado, Green Sea Floyds, 33:45; fifth place, Katlyn Roberts, Latta, 34:29; sixth place, Nancy Sandoval, Loris, 35:03; seventh place, Kate Bullard, Green Sea Floyds, 37:53; eighth place, Rebecca Williamson, Green Sea Floyds, 37:59; ninth place, Louisa Schreiner, Green Sea Floyds, 38:30; 10th place, Arzola, Marion, 38:34.

Green Sea Floyds Trojans Cross Country met Mondayin Conway for a make-up because of Horry County Schools being out for three weeks. On Oct. 10 and Oct.16,, they will be at North Myrtle Beach High School. Then, they will begin region, lower state and state competition.
