Betty Jean Hyman
The family of Betty Jean Hyman, 96, will hold a private graveside service before receiving friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel April 26 from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Hyman passed away peacefully April 24.
Born in Dothan, Ala., on April 21, 1929, Mrs. Hyman was a devoted聽member of First Baptist Church and was the president of the Service Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Hyman was a聽member of the Conway Medical Center Auxiliary for 35 years as well as a former member of the Pilot Club of Conway.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles R. 鈥淐harlie鈥澛燗llen; sister, Marry E. Finney; and grandchild, Heath Hucks.
Surviving are her husband, L.B. Hyman Sr.; children, Sue A. Jordan (A.B.) of Manning, Linda Proctor (Lee) of Myrtle Beach, Minnieree A. Thompkins (Freddy) of Conway, Gail H. Hucks of Conway, Larry B. Hyman Jr. (Meredith) of Conway, Randy E. Hyman (Gretchen Anderson) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Ben Jordan (Mary Kathryn), Penny Davis (Phil), Crystal Calhoun (Jason), Alex Hyman (Tammi), Ashley Morrison (Joe), Elizabeth Darst (David), Jordan Hyman (Kandace), Colby Hucks (Kelsey), Allen Thompkins, Catherine Hill-Hyman, Amy Hill-Hyman; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joy E. Scott of Tallahassee, Fla.
The family offers a special thank you to her devoted caregivers, Patsy Graham, Elaine Martin, Kristen Bailey, Patricia Richardson and the excellent staff at Crescent Hospice.聽
