Amanda "Mandy" Rebecca Hewitt, 38, of Myrtle Beach, passed away April 10.

She was born April 5, 1987 in Conway.

Mandy will be remembered for her free spirit and her strength to stand strong for others through her own suffering. Her life was challenged, but she pushed to the end. She will be seen as someone who was loved and cared for until the light faded.

Mandy was the daughter of the late Loria Ann Pickelsimmer Hall, who held a special place in Mandy's life and whose love continues to be felt through the generations.

Loria passed away, but remains deeply cherished by all who knew her. Mandy is also survived by her father, Travis Alan Hall, who now resides in Palmetto, Fla., with his partner, Lisa Walker, who lovingly helped raise Mandy's children.

She is survived by her four children, Kylie Ann Harvey, 18, Brendon David Harvey, 15, Nathan Kyle Harvey, 15, and Gabriel Lee Harvey, 9, all of whom carry forward her spirit in their own unique ways.

Mandy is lovingly remembered by her brother, Travis "Shaine" Hall, his wife Irma and their children Amelia, 11, Madeline, 9, Isaac, 3 and Travis, 5 months; her sister, Andria Shea "Tuttie" Hall, who is raising Mandy's youngest child; and other loving family members including aunts and uncles, who held her dear.

She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Lewis Earl Skipper, Ronald Eugene Pickelsimer and Lois Pickelsimer.

She is survived by her Mawmaw, Linda Rebecca Skipper, who holds her memory close.

Mandy's family will forever cherish the memories they shared and the love they continue to carry in her absence.

A casual gathering to celebrate Mandy's life with family and friends will be held in July. More details will be shared with loved ones in the coming weeks.
