Four people were arrested in connection with a string of armed robberies across Myrtle Beach that were reported overnight Tuesday, May 13.

Myrtle Beach Police said the department is actively investigating the armed robberies, which happened at Broadway at the Beach, along Kings Highway and around 65th Avenue North.

The first incident was reported at Broadway at the Beach when two victims were by their vehicle around the 1100 block of Celebrity Circle and were approached at gunpoint and robbed, Myrtle Beach Police Department said in a release.

The second armed robbery happened in a parking lot along the coast in the area of 2200 North Ocean Boulevard. A man was robbed by two armed suspects, police said. The subjects fled the scene.

Another incident was reported around the 4000 block of North Kings Highway when a man in his car was approached by two armed suspects, police said. The subjects attempted to get into the vehicle, but the victim was able to drive away.

A fourth incident happened further north along the 6600 block of Colonial Drive. A male victim was taken from a parking lot at gunpoint, forced to withdraw cash from an ATM and released, police said.

A woman was robbed at gunpoint in a fifth incident that was reported in the 800 block of 65th Avenue North.
