鈥淲e are excited to bring Downtown Flavortown to Myrtle Beach. The Myrtle Beach mall resembles many other shopping malls in America in the 21st century, with anchor stores operating on the wings of the mall with little to no activity inside. The heyday of the indoor shopping mall is in the past with the rise in online shopping and success of outdoor shopping malls like Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach seeming to be the choice of shoppers.
Andrew Bledsoe, marketing manager for FACE Amusement, said the restaurant is being built in the old JCPenney location and that demolition has already begun. He said the Myrtle Beach location of Downtown Flavortown will be larger than the Pigeon Forge location which is 43,000 square feet.
Downtown Flavortown is a restaurant and arcade with mini bowling, a with award-winning burgers, a tiki bar and a wide assortment of arcade games.聽
